AMSNW strives to be a different kind of appraisal Management Company. Our model is designed to maximize the fee we can offer to the appraiser while still providing compliance to the client, including all of the quality control and review provisions, and ensuring appraiser independence. Our goal is to create a positive, constructive relationship with both the mortgage company and the appraiser. We understand the pressure lenders are under to provide timely service to their borrowers, as well as good communication and fast turn times, which makes appraisers a direct reflection on you in their dealings with your homeowners and agents. 


We also understand the benefit of being connected with the most experienced, most professional appraisers available.  Many of the national appraisal management companies are currently attempting to place orders at approximately 30% below the industry standard fee appraisers are used to receiving.  Understandably, they are meeting resistance from experienced appraisers.  Our belief is that by paying a competitive fee, we ensure that the best appraisers remain in the industry, and that the appraisals you order will continue to be completed in the timely, high quality manner you are used to, without substantially raising fees to the borrower.  This also ensures that the lender remains compliant with the current initiative of 'Customary and Reasonable Fees', mentioned in Section XIV of the Dodd-Frank Act.
